Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is a painful nerve problem that interferes with the use of your hand. It occurs when tissue or bone puts pressure on the nerve that runs from your neck through your wrist to your fingers. At first, you may have numbness, tingling, or burning in your hand. Shooting pain in your wrist or forearm may follow, and your grip may become weak.

Your shoulder is very flexible, but it's also fragile. Pain in your shoulder can result from one of number of causes. An irritated nerve in your neck, repeated overuse, or an injury, can cause inflammation and stiffness and make everyday activities painful.

Pain in the Neck

Your neck protects your spinal cord and spinal nerves, while supporting and balancing the weight of your head. Poor posture, wear and tear, injury, stress and tension can strain or damage vital parts of your neck.

A healthy neck is aligned in a natural curve at the top of your spine. Damage to your neck's natural curve can cause painful problems.
